Job summary

Big Dreamers ABA in Atlanta, GA is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism spectrum disorder. You will implement BCBA-designed intervention plans, collect data, and help clients improve social, communication, and daily living skills in a warm, in-person setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred or in progress) and prior experience with autism.

Qualifications

• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Familiarity with ABA principles and techniques.
• Ability to engage effectively with children and adolescents.
• Background in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical documentation and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the guidance of a BCBA.

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. You will implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients in improving their social, communication, and daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and track client progress through data collection.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans.
• Work closely with families and caregivers to ensure the consistent application of behavior strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and medical records.
• Support clients in their daily living activities (ADLs) and social interactions.
• Conduct structured teaching sessions using ABA principles.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with ABA principles and techniques.
• Ability to effectively engage with children and adolescents.
• Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical documentation, care plans, and patient care practices.

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree (completed or in progress) preferred.
