Job summary

Butterfly Effects is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians to support children with autism at our Dallas center. We offer part-time positions with potential to ramp to full-time, and a $500 sign-on bonus with active RBT certification and Medicaid.

RBT rate ranges from $24.00 to $26.00 hourly, with non-RBT rates at $19-21 hourly; after RBT certification, rate increases to $23 hourly. Join a team dedicated to ABA-based intervention plans, family collaboration, and ongoing education and training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A genuine love for working with children and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience with children is advantageous and ongoing learning is encouraged.
• Transportation: valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance with your name listed.
• Must have a Tablet or Laptop computer to use during sessions.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Observes, records, and reports client progress and behavior daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assist clients to acquire academic and/or life skills as needed.
• Communicate professionally with parents, analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Be an active member of the treatment team.
• Complete daily paperwork and data entries in the online database.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to increase skills.
• Maintain client confidentiality and follow BE policies.

We are seeking dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians, both entry-level and experienced, to directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care. • Competitive Compensation: RBTs earn $24.00 - $26.00 hourly, based on your experience, education, and certifications.
• Non RBT rate: $19-21 hourly
• Here's a Bonus: training for RBT available, once RBT certified, rate will increase to $23 hourly

• Part-Time > Full Time: Monday - Friday availability required to work at the center
  • 8am-6pm availability needed
  • Will be able to ramp up to full-time hours, 30 hours a week

Position Duties:

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress, as well as the condition and
• behavior of the client daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assist clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
• Communicate in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavioral analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent and timely manner through our on-line database.
• Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows BE policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for Children: A genuine love for working with children.
• Positive Attitude: Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
• Experience: Prior experience with children is advantageous.
• Continuous Learning: Interest in ongoing development.
• Transportation: Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, & Auto insurance with name listed.
• Devices: Must have a Tablet or Laptop computer to use during sessions (not just a smart phone)
• Background: Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
