Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician (RBT) to work with children and families affected by autism. The role focuses on teaching communication, play, and social skills in home, school, or center environments, with play-based sessions and ongoing staff training.

A passion for working with children, flexibility to train toward RBT/BCBA, and a positive, energetic attitude are valued. Compensation is hourly and includes growth opportunities and education support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma. College coursework a plus.
• Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs and be comfortable with physical activity in home environments.
• Valid driver's license and a personal vehicle required.

Responsibilities

ABA Behavior Technician / RBT

What would you be doing?

Our treatment involves working directly with the child and the family in their natural environment (most often their home but also in schools and our centers), to teach them how to communicate, share, play, wait, and other essential skills.

BE's Behavior Technician / Child Interventionist makes the session fun by teaching through play-based activities. We offer training to all staff, so they feel confident in the skills required to instruct children affected by autism. The best fit for this role is someone very outgoing, energetic, and friendly.

What do you bring to the role?

Compensation

• $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience, education, and certifications

Physical Demands

Working with clients in their natural environments may require you to lift or move approximately 50 lbs. and be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
