Job summary

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care is hiring for a Behavioral Technician. The role provides 1:1 behavioral therapy in a clinic setting, with supervision from a BCBA and focus on teaching communication and social skills to youth.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and at least six months of related experience, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills. This full-time position emphasizes teamwork and confidentiality, with no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with six months of prior work or volunteer experience providing individual instructions, preferably in a health care setting.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 treatment to individuals in need of behavioral therapy in a clinic setting.
• Implement treatment goals under supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide feedback on progress to supervisor.
• Teach communication, self-help, social skills and other treatment goals.
• Track client progress and program data.
• Follow company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality.
• Coordinate work with management and staff; work as a team contributor.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 treatment to individuals in need of behavioral therapy in a clinic setting
• Implement treatment goals under the supervision of a BCBA
• Provide adequate feedback regarding progress to supervisor
• Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social-skills, and other targeted treatment goals
• Track client progress and program data
• Understands and adheres to company’s policy and procedures
• Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient-related information
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all interactions and assignments
• Work independently while understanding the importance of constant communication and coordinating work efforts with management and staff
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma, plus a minimum of six months prior work/volunteer experience providing individual instructions, preferably in a health care environment
• Demonstrates effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and part of a team
• Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Has reliable transportation and is able to travel to/from multiple assignments/locations on a daily basis
