Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) at MATS have opportunities for career progression, including becoming senior RBTs or senior clinicians, and involvement in business management.

Job Purpose:

The Registered Behavioral Technician is a vital part of the clinical team, working with clients in various environments. The role requires compassion, energy, and physical ability to engage children in tasks and play activities based on individual behavioral plans. Our clinical leaders will train and supervise you to provide one-on-one behavioral therapy to children with autism, supporting your ongoing development and career growth.

Under guidance, you will contribute positively to children’s lives with autism.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement individual behavior plans
  • Provide one-on-one ABA services
  • Use ABA strategies such as discrete trial training, prompting/fading, reinforcement, etc.
  • Enter data accurately and promptly
  • Provide feedback on client needs and behavior changes
  • Collaborate with the clinical team
  • Obtain and maintain RBT certification
  • Maintain supervision logs and meet productivity targets
  • Report incidents and risks following safety procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

This role primarily operates in-home and community settings.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor’s in Behavioral Health, Education, or related field (preferred)
  • RBT certification (preferred)
  • Experience in ABA (2+ years, preferred)
  • Background check, CPR certification, reliable transportation, auto insurance, driver’s license
