ABA Centers of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN, is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). The starting rate is $20.85 per hour, with certification through BACB required.

The role involves delivering ABA therapy in homes, schools, or clinics and supporting clients under BCBA supervision. Paid training, mentorship, and an ABA Academy of Excellence are offered to help you prepare for and pass the RBT exam, with opportunities for career growth and advancement within a growing national

What You’ll Do

• Direct Client Support
• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics

Collaborate & Communicate

• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families
• Participating in team meetings and ongoing training

• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active RBT certification through the BACB board
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review

Position-Specific

• Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Prior exposure to ABA services
