Texas ABA Centers is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support clients with autism across homes, schools, and clinics in Sugar Land, TX.

Starting pay is $23.50 per hour, with final compensation determined by experience, training, and education. We offer paid training, mentorship, and a clear path for career advancement through our ABA Academy of Excellence.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience.
• Availability mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver`s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality.
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles)
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Prior exposure to ABA services

Position-Specific Items

• Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
