The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position involves providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in home-based and community-based settings. The RBT will work with clients to improve skills in language, social skills, and play skills. If you're interested in starting a career in this growing field, apply now.

Position Details:

  • Competitive compensation: $23 - $30 per hour.
  • Paid training (excluding RBT certification training).
  • Supervision provided for BCBA candidates.
  • Part-time, with potential to lead to full-time.
  • Reliable vehicle required (own transportation).
  • High School diploma required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement ABA programs to enhance communication, self-help, social, and play skills.
  • Communicate professionally with families.
  • Keep clients motivated to learn.
  • Accurately record clients' progress.
  • Manage challenging behaviors.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information.
  • Travel to clients' homes/community settings as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma.
  • RBT certification.
  • Previous experience working with children in ABA therapy is a must.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
  • Access to a working cell phone.
  • Background check required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Walking, running, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, reaching, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Engagement in play activities on the floor or child-sized furniture.
  • Focus on safety and quick movements when necessary.
  • Up to 45 minutes of physical exertion may be required.
