Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a school setting working with students with behavior challenges, including autism, emotional disabilities, and developmental disabilities.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification with annual renewal, or plan to pursue RBT certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct student instruction in one-on-one and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment teaching.
• Follow prescribed behavior skills acquisition and behavior change protocols.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable student behavior.
• Assist with skill acquisition and behavioral assessments; collect data on all programming.
• Document interventions, progress data, and session notes.
• Assist with staff training on individualized treatment and behavior change protocols through modeling and fidelity checks.
• Immediately report student incidents, variances, or complaints to the teacher.
• Collaborate with school teams and attend IEP meetings as necessary.
• Participate in and present in-service programs as assigned.
