$16.00/hr - $22.50/hr

The Behavior Technician (BT) is a vital part of our team, providing direct ABA therapy to children aged two to ten diagnosed with Autism, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your role is to help children prepare to engage and navigate the world, creating a lasting positive impact on their lives.

Responsibilities
  1. Implement therapeutic programs under BCBA supervision, using ABA strategies
  2. Monitor clients during sessions, ensuring safety and wellbeing
  3. Administer behavioral interventions for clients with communication deficits or safety risks
  4. Build rapport with clients and engage throughout sessions
  5. Respect client dignity and communicate effectively with families and colleagues
  6. Maintain accurate session notes and documentation
  7. Assist with physical needs and personal care of clients
  8. Uphold ethical standards and safety protocols
  9. Track supervision requirements to maintain RBT certification
  10. Participate in team tasks, training, and center organization
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelors preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Obtain RBT certification within first 60 days and maintain it
  • Current CPR/AED or BLS certification from the American Heart Association
