Job summary

ABA Centers of Georgia is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians to support children with autism across in-home, community, and center settings. You will assist with daily living and social skills, collect data, and work under a BCBA supervision.

Paid RBT training, career advancement paths, and ongoing team support are highlights of this role. Training opportunities and stipends are available to help you grow within ABA Centers of Georgia.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent required.
• Availability during after-school hours, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with driver's license and car insurance.
• BT: Attend 40-hour RBT training and pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire.
• RBT: Attend required training program.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with autism in the home, community, or centers.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based methods.
• Collect, organize, and summarize data during sessions.
• Collaborate with clinical team and participate in ongoing training.
• Implement therapy sessions designed by a BCBA.
• Communicate with RBTs, BCBAs, families, and directors to support client needs.
• Perform clerical duties to support operations.

What You'll Do

• Support individuals with autism in the home, in the community, or in one of our new centers
• Teach daily living skills and social skills using effective behavior and evidence-based treatments
• Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions
• Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training
• Implement training and therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, Executive Directors, and additional team members to support the client's needs
• Performs other clerical and administrative duties as assigned to support operations

Education/Experience and Other Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent
• Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays
• Consistent, reliable transportation, a driver's license, and car insurance to provide in-home services for clients
• Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
• BT: Ability to attend our 40-hour RBT training course and be eligible to pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire
• RBT: Ability to attend required training program
