Job summary

ABA Centers of Virginia in Richmond, VA is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, and clinics. We offer paid training, mentorship, and a clear path toward RBT certification. BT positions are also available with structured progression.

Starting pay is $24.60 per hour for RBT and $22.25 per hour for BT, with referral bonuses and a strong growth path in a supportive ABA environment.

What You'll Do

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles)

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Prior exposure to ABA services

Position-Specific Items

• Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
