Job summary

ABA Centers of Virginia is seeking dedicated professionals to provide ABA therapy across homes, schools, and community settings with supervision from BCBA. Starting wages are $24.60/hr for RBT and $22.25/hr for BT, with paid training and clear paths for advancement through our ABA Academy of Excellence.

We offer mentorship, support for RBT exam preparation, and referral bonuses for BCBAs and RBTs as part of a comprehensive growth program.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Direct Client Support

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles)
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Prior exposure to ABA services

Position-Specific Items

• Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
