Job summary

ABA Centers of Pennsylvania is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) to provide ABA therapy across homes, schools, and community settings in the Philadelphia area. Starting pay: RBT $24.60/hour; BT $22.25/hour, with referral bonuses available and paid training opportunities.

You’ll train through our ABA Academy and work under BCBA supervision. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, are available mornings through evenings and weekends,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues as needed.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain quality of data and documentation.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families; participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.

WhatYou’llDo

Direct Client Support

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs

• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills

• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision

• Track Progress &MaintainQuality

• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately

Collaborate & Communicate

• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families

• Participatingin team meetings and ongoing training

Support Operations

• Assistwith administrative and clinical support tasks as needed

WhatWe’reLooking For

Required

• High school diploma orGED

• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles)

• Availability duringmornings,afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance

• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields

• Experience working with children or adolescents

• Prior exposure to ABA services

Position-SpecificItems

• Behavior Technician (BT):Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)

• Training availability (BT / RBT):Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
