Job summary

ABA Centers is seeking part-time RBT/BT personnel in Vienna, VA to deliver ABA therapy across multiple settings and support families with data-driven progress tracking. Training is provided, with pathways to RBT certification and BCBA mentorship.

Competitive starting hourly rates and referral bonuses are offered as part of a comprehensive development program. Roles require a high school diploma or GED and 6+ months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• Preferred experience in childcare, education, or related fields.
• Experience working with children or adolescents.
• Prior exposure to ABA services.

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Support across homes, schools, communities, clinics, and other venues.
• Deliver ABA therapy and implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Track progress and maintain data accuracy.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, team members, and families; participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Provide administrative and clinical support as needed.

BT: Starting rate of $22.25 per hour.
Referral Bonus $500 for a RBT
Referral Bonus $5,000 for a BCBA
Final compensation determined by experience, training, and education.

What You'll Do

• Direct Client Support
• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision

What We're Looking For

• Required High school diploma or GED

Position-Specific Items

• Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
