ABA Centers of Virginia is seeking motivated RBTs/BTs for part-time ABA therapy in Fairfax, VA. Competitive starting hourly rates and a path for advancement are offered, with paid training and mentorship to help you prepare for the RBT exam.

Qualifications

• Required High school diploma or GED.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• Preferred Experience in childcare, education, or related fields.
• Experience working with children or adolescents.
• Prior exposure to ABA services.

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Support.
• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality.
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
• Collaborate & Communicate with BCBAs, team members, and families.
• Participating in team meetings and ongoing training.

BT: Starting rate of $22.25 per hour.
*** Referral Bonus $500 for a RBT

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

Position-Specific Items

• Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
