Job summary

ABA Centers of America in Salem, NH, is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) for a part-time role with starting pay of $21.25/hour for BTs and $23.50/hour for RBTs. Final compensation depends on experience, training, and education.

The company offers paid training, mentorship, and a clear path for advancement, plus support through the ABA Academy to prepare for the RBT exam required by the BACB.

What You’ll Do

Direct Client Support

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues based on client needs
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision

• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training

Support Operations

• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed

Requirements

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles)
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Prior exposure to ABA services

Position‑Specific Items

• Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40‑hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate), followed by precepting and pass the RBT exam within 45 days.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (up to 2 weeks).
• Training availability (BT/RBT): Monday‑Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.
