Job summary

ABA Centers of America is one of the nation’s fastest-growing providers of autism care, offering paid training, mentorship, and a clear path for advancement as a BT/RBT. Starting rates of $22.25/hour for BTs and $24.60/hour for RBTs are available in Rochester, MA, with final compensation determined by experience, training, and education.

We support you through our ABA Academy of Excellence to prepare for the RBT exam, and provide opportunities for growth while delivering high-quality ABA therapy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of relevant experience.
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles)
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Prior exposure to ABA services

Position-Specific Items

• Behavior Technician (BT):Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Training availability (BT / RBT):Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
