Job summary

ABA Centers of America is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Behavior Technicians (BT) to deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, and clinics. We provide paid training through our ABA Academy of Excellence and offer clear paths for advancement with support for RBT exam preparation.

You will work with BCBA supervision, collect and summarize data, collaborate with families and the clinical team, and participate in ongoing training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of relevant experience preferred.
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs.
• Teach daily living skills and social skills.
• Collect, organize, and document session data under BCBA supervision.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Implement training and therapy sessions designed by a BCBA.

What You'll Do

• Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions

• Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, Executive Directors, and additional team members to support the client's needs

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles)
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Prior exposure to ABA services

Position-Specific Items

• Behavior Technician (BT):Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Training availability (BT / RBT):Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
