ABA Centers of Florida is hiring Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) for a full-time role in Oakland Park, FL. Starting rates are $19.35/hour for BTs and $21.40/hour for RBTs, with final compensation determined by experience, training, and credentials.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21+ in NJ).
• Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and car insurance for in-home services.
• Background and drug screenings and driving record must be clean.
• BT: attend 40-hour RBT full-time paid training and pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire.
• RBT: attend required paid training program.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with autism in the home, community, or centers.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments.
• Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions.
• Collaborate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training.
• Implement training and therapy sessions designed by a BCBA.
• Communicate with RBTs, BCBAs, families, Executive Directors, and team members to support client needs.
• Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education/Experience and Other Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 years or older if located in New Jersey)
• Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays
• Consistent, reliable transportation, a valid driver\'s license, and car insurance to provide in-home services for clients
• Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
• BT: Ability to attend our 40-hour RBT fulltime paid training course and be eligible to pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire
• RBT: Ability to attend required paid training program
