ABA Centers of Florida in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) BT/RBT for a full-time role. Starting rate is $19.35 per hour, with final compensation based on experience and credentials.

The position offers paid training through our ABA Academy and growth opportunities within our healthcare team. You will support individuals with autism in homes, communities, or centers, perform data collection, and collaborate with BCBA and families to implement evidence-based

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ (21+ in NJ) and available after-school, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.
• Clean background/drug screenings and driving record.
• BT: complete 40-hour RBT paid training and pass exam within 45 days.
• RBT: attend required paid training program.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with autism in the home, community, or centers.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments.
• Collect, organize, and summarize data during sessions.
• Collaborate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training.
• Implement sessions designed by a BCBA and communicate with families.
• Perform clerical duties to support operations.

What You'll Do

• Support individuals with autism in the home, in the community, or in one of our new centers
• Teach daily living skills and social skills using effective behavior and evidence-based treatments
• Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions
• Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training
• Implement training and therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, Executive Directors, and additional team members to support the client's needs
• Performs other clerical and administrative duties as assigned to support operations

Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 years or older if located in New Jersey)
• Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays
• Consistent, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance to provide in-home services for clients
• Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
• BT: Ability to attend our 40-hour RBT fulltime paid training course and be eligible to pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire
• RBT: Ability to attend required paid training program
