ABA Centers of New Jersey in Hoboken, NJ seeks Behavior Technicians to deliver ABA therapy with paid training and a clear path to advancement. You will work with BCBAs, families, and students in homes, schools, and clinics to teach communication and daily living skills.

Starting rates are $22.25/hour for BTs and $24.60/hour for RBTs. Requires high school diploma, 6+ months' experience, and afternoon/evening/weekend availability; 40-hour paid training and exam prep provided.

Qualifications

• Timeline: 40-hour paid training for BT; RBT pathway available with paid training.
• Must be able to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• NJ residents: minimum age 21 and 1 year of related experience.

Responsabilités

• Direct client support and delivery of ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities or clinics.

• Track progress, collect and document session data accurately.

What You'll Do

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles)
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review
• NJ candidates must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, in healthcare, or in a related field.

Position-Specific

• Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Prior exposure to ABA services
