Job summary

ABA Centers of New Jersey, LLC is hiring Behavior Technicians (BT) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) in Hackensack, NJ. We offer paid training, mentorship, and pathways to RBT certification under BACB requirements.

Starting pay is $22.25/hour for BTs and $24.60/hour for RBTs, with full-time benefits and growth opportunities. Join a fast-growing provider delivering ABA therapy in homes, schools, and clinics.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• NJ candidates must be at least 21 years old and have 1 year of experience with children/healthcare/related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Support.
• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain quality; collect and document session data.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles)
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review
• NJ candidates must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, in healthcare, or in a related field.

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Prior exposure to ABA services
