Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) After School- Lake in the Hills (PartTime)

This is a part-time opportunity with paid training and flexible scheduling to fit your availability after school hours. As a Behavior Technician, you’ll provide one-on-one and small group ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy to children ages 6–10 on the autism spectrum, under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Services are delivered at our center-based facility. Shifts are available Monday–Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Your Role At a Glance:

  • Provide one-on-one therapy to assigned clients within your caseload
  • Implement behavior intervention plans, and therapy programs developed by the BCBA
  • Obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification within 35 days of hire
  • Attend all required trainings, team meetings, mentor sessions, and staff meetings
  • Maintain accurate data collection and session documentation as part of each client’s medical record
  • Positively represent The Place for Children with Autism to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Follow all established protocols, procedures, and safety regulations consistently

Skills and Experience That Help You Shine:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • RBT certification a plus, but not required
  • Experience in healthcare, education, or childcare preferred
  • Physically able to lift 20 lbs, bend/squat, and move quickly when needed

What We Offer:

  • $17.00 – $23.00/hour based on experience which
  • $2/hour afternoon differential for after-school hours
  • 401(k) with company match up to 3%
