Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder? Looking for meaningful part-time work that fits your schedule? The Place for ABA is excited to launch our new After School Program, and we’re looking for dedicated, energetic, and compassionate individuals to join our team!

Job Description:

This is apart-time opportunity with paid training while you work toward your RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability after school hours. The Behavior Technician provides one-on-one (and group) ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy to clients ages 6-10 on the autism spectrum under the supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). Treatment is provided on site at a center-based facility. Behavior Technicians are available to work from 3:00pm to 7:00pm Monday-Friday and 9:00am-12:00pm on Saturdays.

What we need from you:

  • A strong desire to work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families.
  • A compassionate attitude and a sense of dedication to “be present” every day while working with both clients and your fellow team members.
  • Be reliable and dependable–your clients and your team members will be counting on you.
  • A willingness to learn and open to constructive feedback for development.
  • Because we value the safety of our clients and their families, we do require a background check.

What we require from you:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds.
  • Bending and squatting for up to an hour per day.
  • Kids are fast, so the ability to follow a child without restrictions throughout the center (sometimes at a rapid pace) is needed.

$17.00 – $23.00/hour based on experience which

$2/hour afternoon differential for after-school hours
