Job summary

Blue Gems ABA is seeking an RBT to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in home, school, or clinic settings, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision.

You will collect real-time data on client progress, collaborate with supervising BCBAs and families, and maintain a safe, engaging environment for sessions. A valid RBT certification and driver's license are required; a bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required or eligible to obtain it.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in psychology/education is a plus.
• Experience with children with autism or developmental delays preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping children and families.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.

• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.

• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.

• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.

Job Requirements

• Certification: Active Registered Behavior Technician (or eligibility to obtain certification, if applicable)

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is a plus).

• Experience: Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays preferred.

• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.
