Achieving Stars Therapy in Topeka, KS is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home and community-based ABA services. You will work under supervision to implement plans, collect data, and support individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, knowledge of HIPAA, and strong communication skills. This full-time, in-person role requires travel up to 100% and offers paid training and benefits.

Qualifications

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Resgistered Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, by providing in-home and community based ABA services. Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
• Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination

Skills

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records
