Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team in New Hampshire. The RBT will implement behavior support plans under the direction of a BCBA, providing ABA-based instruction to promote skill development and reduce problematic behavior.

The role requires BACB RBT certification, 5+ years of related experience, and availability for afternoon hours (1:30–4:00).

Qualifications

• BACB-certified RBT required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with developmental disabilities or related populations.
• Availability for early afternoon hours (1:30-4:00) required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle access required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Northeast Family Services is seeking a RBT to join our growing team!

FFS - Fee For Service Position

The RBT will be responsible for the implementation of clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and provision of ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills, at the direction of their supervising BCBA. The Registered Behavior Technician will monitor client behavior, collect data on client behavior, and report the data back to supervising BCBA. The Registered Behavior Technician will work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA and client’s family to support meaningful changes in client behavior.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) - REQUIRED
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience- REQUIRED (Working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families, and experience working with adolescents requiring comprehensive level care)
• Availability to work early afternoon hours (e.g.1:30-4:00) -REQUIRED
• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Experience in applied settings implementing behavioral interventions preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• A compassionate approach to care
