Job summary

Accurate ABA is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team for afternoon and evening sessions. Under the supervision of a BCBA, you will implement ABA programs to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and related needs.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping others, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be eager to grow in behavior analysis.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Current certification as an RBT or ability to obtain RBT certification within 90 days.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or related needs preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various client locations.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA.
  • Apply behavior reduction procedures to decrease challenging behaviors.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including parents and teachers.
  • Participate in regular supervision sessions with the BCBA to review client progress.

Job description

Hours needed: 4:00pm until 7:00pm Monday through Thursday

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs designed to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, or other special needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn and grow in the field of behavior analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA to address target behaviors and skill deficits.
  • Implement behavior reduction procedures and strategies to decrease challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior change.
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Participate in regular supervision sessions with the BCBA to review client progress, discuss treatment strategies, and receive feedback.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ability to become RBT within 90 days.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, or special needs preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations for client sessions.
