Action Behavior Centers in Merrillville, IN is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time daytime schedule (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm), with optional Saturdays based on patient needs. Start Date: Immediate openings.

You will work one-on-one with children ages 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA therapy, following treatment plans and collecting simple data while staying active and engaged in sessions. Growth opportunities exist through leadership and higher clinical roles.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required and in good standing.
• High school diploma or higher; willingness to pursue RBT certification within 20 days.
• Ability to work one-on-one with children in ABA therapy.

Pay (based on education & previous ABA experience)

• High School / Associate’s Degree: $17.05– $23.50 per hour
• Bachelor’s Degree: $19 –$27 per hour
• Master’s Degree: $20 –$28 per hour

Job Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and getting on/off the floor frequently
• Able to maintain an active pace while working with young children
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire
• Team mindset: may occasionally help support a nearby ABC clinic if additional coverage is needed
