Job summary

Aviation ABA Therapy is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide in-home, 1:1 ABA therapy for children across North Salt Lake and Bountiful. Working under a BCBA, you’ll build communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based ABA strategies, with data collected after each session.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required (or willingness to obtain certification with company support).
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
• Reliable transportation within North Salt Lake, Bountiful, and surrounding areas.
• Ability to kneel, squat, sit on the floor, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Comfortable using tablets and iPads for electronic data collection.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes under supervision.
• Implement skill-building programs using play-based and structured methods (DTT, NET).
• Collect and record behavioral data electronically after each session.
• Communicate progress with BCBA and clinical team.
• Participate in parent training, team meetings, and generalization activities.
• Assist with assessments, materials preparation, and session organization.
• Follow BIPs and safety protocols; maintain confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Step into lead therapist responsibilities when requested.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Position Overview

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Aviation ABA Therapy, you'll provide in‑home ABA therapy to children and families across North Salt Lake and Bountiful. Working 1:1 with clients under the supervision of a BCBA, you'll build communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence‑based ABA strategies. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Responsibilities

• Implement skill‑building programs using play‑based and structured teaching methods (DTT, NET)

• Collect and record behavioral data electronically using tablets/iPads after each session

• Communicate regularly with your BCBA and the clinical team regarding client progress

• Participate in parent training sessions, team meetings, and generalization activities

• Assist with assessments, materials preparation, and therapy session organization

• Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and safety protocols

• Maintain professional boundaries and uphold client confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)

• Step into lead therapist responsibilities when requested
