Job summary

Momentum ABA Services in California is hiring a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement individualized ABA support plans under supervision. The role involves one-on-one services, teaching skill acquisition, and assisting with client goals in home, clinic, and community settings.

The ideal candidate will have high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience with individuals with Autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Current and valid RBT certification is preferred, not required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work professionally with others.
• Pass post-offer background check and work eligibility in the United States.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and drive as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides one-on-one ABA services to clients.
• Implements each client’s support plan under supervision of the Behavior Analyst.
• Provides feedback to clinical team regarding the client’s support plan.
• Obtains and maintains RBT certification.
• Follows health and safety protocols to protect clients and staff.
• Performs other duties to meet department needs.

Momentum ABA Services is currently hiring for a part-time Registered Behavior Technician.

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will be responsible for implementing individualized support plans under the guidance and supervision of the Behavior Analyst. The RBT will implement behavior plan strategies, teach skill acquisition, and assist with individualized goals and objectives in home, community, and clinic-based settings as indicated by the needs of the individuals we support.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides one-on-one ABA services to clients
• Understands and implements each client's individual support plan under the supervision of the Behavior Analyst
• Provides feedback and insight to clinical team regarding client's support plan
• Obtains and maintains Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Protects the health and safety of clients and fellow employees by following appropriate health and safety protocols and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet departments and/or business needs

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; required
• At least one (1) year of experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other developmental disabilities; preferred
• Current and valid RBT certification; preferred, not required
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Communicate and work professionally and cooperatively with others
• Successfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements including criminal background check, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds
• Valid and current proof of legal right to drive; required
