Job summary

A leading nonprofit provider in California is looking for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement individualized support plans under the guidance of a Behavior Analyst. This role offers part-time and full-time schedules and requires effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively. Ideal candidates will have a fun personality and commitment to helping clients with Autism and other developmental disabilities achieve their goals while ensuring health and safety protocols are observed.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other developmental disabilities preferred.
• Current and valid RBT certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized support plans under supervision.

MomentumABA Services is currently hiring for a Registered Behavior Technician. This position is located in Sterling & Long Beach, CA., with opportunities for part-time and full-time schedules.

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will be responsible for implementing individualized support plans under the guidance and supervision of the Behavior Analyst. The RBT will implement behavior plan strategies, teach skill acquisition, and assist with individualized goals and objectives in home, community, and clinic-based settings as indicated by the needs of the individuals we support.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides one-on-one ABA services to clients
• Understands and implements each client’s individual support plan under the supervision of the Behavior Analyst
• Provides feedback and insight to clinical team regarding client’s support plan
• Obtains and maintains Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Protects the health and safety of clients and fellow employees by following appropriate health and safety protocols and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet departments and/or business needs

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; required
• At least one (1) year of experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other developmental disabilities; preferred
• Current and valid RBT certification; preferred, not required
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Communicate and work professionally and cooperatively with othersSuccessfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements including criminal background check, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds
• Valid and current proof of legal right to drive; required
