Job summary

A pediatric therapy service in Kissimmee is looking for a Registered Behavior Technician to implement treatment plans and provide behavior interventions with children and adolescents. This role requires an RBT certification, strong communication skills, and experience working in applied behavior analysis. The position offers flexibility between full-time and part-time schedules, all while ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Must pass criminal background check.
• Reliable means of transportation with proof of car insurance.
• Liability insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans and interventions established by behavior analyst.
• Provide behavior interventions with children and adolescents using varied techniques.
• Manage and handle patients with behavioral problems.
• Document observations of patient behavior.
• Record and document observations of patient behavior.
• Modify daily activities of patients appropriate for behavioral interventions.
• Instruct and counsel children and adolescents on positive behavior aspects.
• Maintain and manage clean and safe environment for patients.
• Develop and initiate appropriate recreational activities for patients; and recognize and report any abuse.

Job Description: RBT must

• Provide behavior interventions with children and adolescents using a variety of applied behavior analysis techniques in the home, community, and/or school
• Manage and handle patients with behavioral problems
• Develop and initiate safety standards for patients at all times; monitor
• Record and document observations of patient behavior
• Modify daily activities of patients appropriate for behavioral interventions
• Instruct and counsel children and adolescents on positive behavior aspects
• Maintain and manage clean and safe environment for patients
• Develop and initiate appropriate recreational activities for patients; and recognize and report any abuse
