Reaching Milestones is hiring an ABA Clinician to work one-on-one with children with special needs in a clinic setting in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on increasing communication, social, and verbal skills using Applied Behavior Analysis under supervision.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree and RBT certification prior to working independently, with preferred background in psychology and ABA principles, and experience with children. Pay is hourly, with standard clinic hours.
This is a direct service position that works one-on-one with children who have special needs. ABA Clinicians focus on increasing communication, social, and verbal behavior skills, as well as decreasing problem behavior, using the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This position reports to the Clinical and Administrative Leadership at the Clinic. This is a non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree; company sponsored RBT Certification is required prior to working independently with a client (if not acquired prior)
Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field; experience applying ABA principles; experience working with children with special needs; RBT certification
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Applied Behavior Analysis, and Autism Spectrum Disorders
This position does not have a supervisory role.
This job operates in a professional, clinical environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers/tablets, phones, and photocopiers.
Services are primarily provided in a clinic-based setting, however occasional local travel may be required depending on patient need.
This is largely an active role. This would require the ability to bend, sit, stand, lift, walk, and diaper a child throughout the day. Lifting requirement range is 5-20 lbs. but may exceed 20 lbs. in some cases.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Business hours are M-THRS: 8 a.m.–5 p.m. and FRI: 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Work schedules may vary depending on location.
Pay is commensurate with experience, education and credential level. $20-$25 per hour.
