Opal Autism Centers in Jacksonville, NC is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time, center-based role. You will implement treatment plans under a BCBA supervision, collect data, and engage children in therapeutic activities on-site.

Qualifications

About the Role: Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Job Type: Full-time. Location: 128 Memorial Drive, Jacksonville, NC 28546. Location Type: Center-Based. Pay Range: $37,440 - $52,000 (hourly pay, not salary).

You will implement individualized treatment plans supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and engage with families to support their understanding and involvement in the therapy process. Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification - OR - certificate of completion of a 40‑hour RBT training course recognized and accepted by the BACB - OR - work experience as a BT in the field of ABA
• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year experience working with children or individuals with special needs
• Ability to obtain CPR certification before your employment start date
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a treatment team
• Desire for ongoing professional development and training
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and sit/stand/squat throughout the day
• Comfortable working fully on‑site in a center‑based setting
