Job description

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Mesa, Arizona, is known for its outdoor recreation, with nearby Usery Mountain Regional Park and the Salt River offering great hiking and water sports. Cultural attractions include the Mesa Arts Center and the Arizona Museum of Natural History. The city features notable landmarks like the Mesa Temple and several historic districts. Mesa has a diverse economy and hosts MLB spring training, making it a vibrant community with a strong educational presence, including Mesa Community College.

Salary and Benefits:

• The pay is $19 - $25+ (based on experience and certification)

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one ABA therapy in a clinic-based environment.
• Assigned 2 clients per day, rotating.
• Accept and implement feedback from supervising BCBAs and supervisors.
• Follow and execute treatment plans in a fun and child-friendly manner.
• Use software for daily data recording and timesheet management (training provided).
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for clients.
• Seek additional training and feedback from Lead RBTs and BCBAs.
• Maintain professionalism with clients, families, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings.
• Perform daily cleaning duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Completion of the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician Relias training course before your first day (we provide this course).
• Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma (HS Diploma or GED).
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and be physically active (including sitting on the floor).
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must pass a background check.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (you can apply even if you don’t have one yet).
• Must live in Arizona or have immediate plans to move here.
