Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
Position:
- Full Time
- Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Possibility of Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Compensation:
- Compensation occurs at an hourly rate and is paid when services are rendered
- Employees are eligible for bonuses based on the company's profit
- Paid time off is earned at a rate of 0.02 hours per hour worked
Reports to:
- BCBA or Clinical Director
Summary of Position:
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children under the clinical direction of a BCBA
- The RBT will be responsible for skill acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by the BCBA to deliver quality therapeutic services to each child
- Our ABA team is highly experienced and is committed to serving children and families with special needs
Responsibilities:
- Complete daily acquisition skills, maintenance, and mastered skills as directed by the BCBA
- Collect accurate data on a daily basis, completing all data sheets and notes daily
- Follow the behavior plan, individualized treatment plan, and reinforcement schedule as prescribed
- Implement appropriate teaching strategies and behavior modification approaches
- Complete all programming requests from BCBAs in a timely manner
- Maintain the clinic's cleanliness and ensure it remains presentable at all times. This includes cleaning the in-room sink area weekly
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of The Full Spectrum Child
- Assist in providing a safe environment for all clients and staff
- Portray a positive attitude and maintain a customer and co-worker satisfaction level that limits adverse situations or complaints
Requirements
- Must be currently certified as a RBT with the Behavior Analytic Certification Board (within 90 days if not currently certified)
- Must currently be CPR certified (within 90 days if not currently certified)
- Obtain and maintain in good standing certification commiserate with treatment provided
- Training and clinical experience in providing applied behavior analysis to children and families
- Must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral
