Job summary

Alpaca Health is hiring RBTs to work one-on-one with kids with autism in homes, schools, and daycares. You will follow a BCBA-designed plan, implement behavior strategies, and collect data, with daily guidance from a dedicated BCBA mentor.

This in-person role welcomes both certified RBTs and those ready to earn certification. Compensation ranges $20–$27 per hour, with opportunities for full-time or part-time schedules and career growth toward BCBA.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent and able to pass a background check

Alpaca Health is a multi-state network of independent ABA therapists, working in homes, schools, and daycares. We hire certified RBTs and motivated people ready to become one. Either way, you’ll work alongside a dedicated BCBA who mentors you from day one, not a manager, not a corporate supervisor.

Not certified yet

• A clear path to becoming an RBT, with a BCBA mentor from day one
• Many practices in our network reimburse RBT training and pay you during hands-on learning, and we’ll help match you with the right fit
• Support as you prepare for and sit for your certification exam

The job

You’ll work one-on-one with kids with autism in their homes, classrooms, and communities. Every day is different. You’ll follow a personalized plan from your BCBA, implement behavior strategies, collect data, and build the consistent relationships that help kids grow. Your BCBA is closely involved and reachable, so there’s no guessing and no flying solo.

• Come from education, childcare, psychology, social work, or any role where you showed up for kids
• Have reliable transportation to reach client homes and schools
• Can keep up physically, getting on the floor, moving around, staying active (able to lift ~50 lbs)
• Are at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and can pass a background check
