The RBT will work directly with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in helping children develop essential skills and improve their quality of life through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
Responsibilities
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
Collect and record data on the child's progress and behavior during sessions.
Assist in the development of care plans tailored to each child's needs.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies across different environments.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to special education and applied behavior analysis.
Experience
Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, is preferred.
RBT certification is required.
Previous experience with high-aggression youth is highly desired. Willingness to work with this population is a must.
Familiarity with data collection methods and ABA terminology is essential.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices is required.
Experience in behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques is a plus.
A background in special education or related fields will be beneficial for this role.

Job Type: Full-time and Part-time available
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
