Job summary

Tellos is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement individualized ABA plans under BCBA supervision. You will help clients build essential skills and improve overall quality of life in home settings.

Responsibilities include data collection, collaborative care with therapists, and ongoing professional development. A compassionate, patient demeanor and a valid RBT certification or Behavior Technician credential are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• RBT certification preferred or Behavior Technician.
• Minimum 6 months experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Background check required; valid driver’s license may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior.
• Assist with functional and skill assessments.
• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in client homes.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, Speech and Occupational Therapists.
• Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training.
• Maintain client confidentiality per BACB guidelines.

Job Description

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will be responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will play a crucial role in helping our clients develop essential skills and improve their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
• Assist with functional behavior assessments and skill assessments
• Provide 1:1 direct ABA therapy to clients in a home setting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including BCBAs, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists
• Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Requirements

• Registered Behavior Technician Certification or Behavior Technician strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check

• High school diploma or equivalent
