Job summary

Job description

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide individualized support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. Your expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) will be crucial in developing and implementing effective treatment plans that enhance the quality of life for your clients. You will work closely with families and other professionals to promote positive behavioral changes and skill development.


RBT Responsibilities



  • Implement individualized ABA therapy programs tailored to each client's needs.


  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on data collection and analysis.


  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence.


  • Provide support in behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors.


  • Teach social skills, communication, and self-regulation techniques.


  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes and care plans.


  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care.


  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all aspects of patient care.



RBT Experience



  • Proven experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.


  • Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.


  • Background in special education or related fields is highly desirable.


  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation practices.


  • Experience in patient care settings, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and empathy.

Job Type: Part-time


Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
