The overriding goal of PBS Corp Services is to enhance the autonomy and quality of life of individuals, and others who support them. Each PBS Corp client has a behavior support plan, and it is the responsibility of the behavior technician to work with caregivers and/or staff to implement strategies within this plan and achieve the desired outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in restructuring environments and activities to support clients' behaviors
• Teach skills to improve communication and functioning
• Review behavior plans and instructional materials developed by BCBA/BCaBA
• Implement behavioral procedures for skill acquisition and behavior reduction
• Collect data as prescribed by behavior analysis service plans
• Communicate openly with behavior analysts and regional coordinators
• Complete daily progress notes related to intervention implementation

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and at least 18 years of age
• Completion of RBT certification or willingness to enroll in PBS virtual training
• Must reside in the general area and have reliable transportation
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Complete all training requirements outlined in the New Employee Checklist

Additional Information:

• This is an in-home and community-based position within the specified area
• Work location depends on client assignment; no overnight travel
