Job summary

Maxim Healthcare seeks an experienced Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA intervention in home settings under BCBA supervision. You will implement treatment plans, document sessions, and collaborate with families to foster communication, social, motor, and cognitive skills for children on the autism spectrum.

The role emphasizes adherence to ethical standards, ongoing training, and flexible scheduling with competitive hourly compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year relevant professional experience.
• CPR certification current; BLS American Heart Association preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, clients.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Follow BCBA/program supervisor instructions.
• Provide behavior intervention 1:1 in-home.
• Work with clients and families to implement treatment plans.

• Attend in-service trainings and adhere to ethics guidelines.

Salary: $25 - $26 / per hour

What We Do:

Under the ongoing supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst, our BT’s & RBT's provide behavioral intervention with children on the Autism Spectrum working 1:1 in the in-home setting. You are responsible for implementing goals in the treatment plan as written by the BCBA. Our goal is to improve the lives of children and families living with autism. And specifically help children on the spectrum learn effective social, motor, language, communication and cognitive skills with the approach of ABA.

Responsibilities:

• Follows the instructions of the BCBA/Program Supervisor
• Provides behavior assistance/interventions to assigned clients
• Work with clients, families, and communities to implement client treatment plan
• Complete and document session per policies and procedures
• Attend and participate for any in-service training
• Uphold & follow the ethical stands of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
• Playtime is learning time. So having fun is expected as well!

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of one (1) year relevant & professional experience
• Current hands-on CPR certification - CPR must be a physical class (BLS American Heart Association)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (as applicable per state and/or client requirement
• Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferences:

• Computer proficiency required
• Completed a minimum of 12 semester hours (or equivalent) of college coursework and currently be enrolled in course of study leading to an associate's or bachelor's degree (psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences, human development or related fields); or have completed a minimum of 48 semester hours (or equivalent) of college coursework.
