Opal Autism Centers is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support ABA therapy at our Wilmington center. The role involves implementing treatment plans under supervision, collecting data, and engaging with children and families in therapy sessions.

The ideal candidate will hold an RBT certification or complete BACB-approved training, have at least 1 year of related experience, and be committed to ongoing professional development in a center-based setting.

Formación

• Active RBT certification - OR - 40-hour RBT training course recognized by BACB.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience with children or individuals with special needs.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification before start date.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively on a treatment team.
• Desire for ongoing professional development and training.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and sit/stand/squat.
• On-site center-based work environment.

About the Role:
Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Type: Part-Time (M-F 12:00-3:00pm)

Pay Range: $18-$25 per hour

You will implement individualized treatment plans supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and engage with families to support their understanding and involvement in the therapy process. • Active RBT certification - OR - certificate of completion of a 40-hour RBT training course recognized andaccepted by the BACB - OR - work experience as a BT in the field of ABA
• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year experience working with children or individuals with special needs
• Ability to obtain CPR certification before your employment start date
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a treatment team
