Job summary

Already Autism Health d.b.a Commonwealth ABA is seeking an ABA therapist to provide therapy across home, community and school settings.

You will teach self-help, language and social skills, implement behavior plans, collect data, and document progress while communicating clearly with clients, families, and coworkers. Training to advance clinical skills will be provided as part of ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • RBT certification preferred; bachelor’s degree in related field may be considered.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical activity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ABA therapy to clients in home, community and school settings.
  • Teach self-help, language/communication, and social skills in 1:1 and group settings.
  • Implement behavior intervention plans to decrease maladaptive behaviors.
  • Collect data electronically on treatment goals.
  • Provide daily written and verbal progress notes on treatment goals.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, families, and coworkers both orally and in writing.
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops to acquire further knowledge.

Job description

Already Autism Health d.b.a Commonwealth ABA is a network of BCBAs, Psychologists, and RBTs focused on transforming the ABA‑industry one town, one team at a time. We provide an array of services including ABA Services, Diagnosis, Telehealth, and Target Case Management. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in a variety of settings (i.e., home, community and school)
  • Teach self‑help skills, language/communication skills, and social skills to clients with autism across the lifespan in a 1:1 and group setting
  • Implement behavior intervention plans to decrease maladaptive behaviors
  • Collect data electronically on individualized treatment goals
  • Provide daily written and verbal progress notes on treatment goals
  • Communicate, orally and in a written form, in a clear and effective manner – with clients, families, and coworkers
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops (as assigned by your supervisors) to acquire further knowledge.
Qualifications for the Position:
  • Required: Being capable of lifting 50lbs.
  • Required: Being capable of performing physical activity.
  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: RBT Certification, Experience, Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Hearing Services, or related field. Other fields are considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co‑workers, supervisors, and community members.
  • Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by the code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA laws.
  • Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills, professional development, ethics, technology, and training to perform job responsibilities.
