Job summary

The Treetop ABA Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis interventions in clients’ homes. You will collect data, report progress to the supervising BCBA, and collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective therapy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in ABA or with children with special needs is a plus but not required.
• RBT certification preferred; commitment to obtain certification within 60 days with pay increase and reimbursement.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical demands.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA interventions to clients in their homes.
• Collect and analyze data on client progress for BCBA review.
• Coordinate with program staff to ensure consistent therapy.
• Provide feedback to parents/guardians on daily activities and progress.
• Implement and refine individualized ABA programs.
• Assist in developing behavior intervention plans.

What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientifically validated approach that improves behavior by applying behavioral principles. ABA therapy helps individuals with autism and other developmental disorders by enhancing essential skills and improving their overall quality of life.

Your Role:

• Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions to clients in their homes.
• Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress, and prepare it for presentation under the supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
• Coordinate with other program staff to ensure consistency and effectiveness of therapy programs.
• Provide feedback to parents and guardians regarding daily activities and progress of clients.
• Implement and refine individualized ABA therapy programs.
• Assist in developing behavior intervention plans.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure effective therapy and support.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and receive constructive feedback on performance.
• Follow instructions diligently and ask questions to ensure clarity and effectiveness in your role.
• Be comfortable working in a team environment or independently, depending on the needs of the program.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Experience with ABA therapy or working with children with special needs is a plus but not required.
• RBT certification is preferred, but if you are not currently certified, we require a commitment to obtain certification within 60 days. We offer a pay increase and reimbursement for certification costs upon completion.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and adapt to the physical demands of the role.
• Willingness to obtain In-Person First Aid/CPR certification.
• Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation to (we do not transport clients) and up to date insurance.
