Job summary

Open Sky Community Services is hiring a Behavior Technician in Massachusetts to support adults with developmental challenges. You will assist the BCBA with Positive Behavior Support Plans and deliver interventions on the Treatment Plan, providing direct one-on-one behavioral supports in home and community settings.

The role includes crisis management, staff coaching, and helping individuals learn daily living and regulation skills, while collaborating with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a group living environment.
• Must be a Registered Behavior Technician or willing to obtain certification within the first 3 months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history, required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the completion of all documentation according to prescribed timelines.
• Provide crisis management and intervention supports to programs; provide clinical advocacy and guidance to staff.
• Coach staff to provide one on one direct supports to assist individuals to attain success in their daily living skills.
• Provide direct supports to assist individuals to learn regulation strategies, coping skills and daily living skills.
• Carry out any clinical assessments and collaborate effectively with program and clinical teams.
