Position Details

Salary Range: Starting at $21 per hour plus benefits for full time employees – guaranteed hours.

Location: St. Augustine, FL - The Arc of the St. Johns, Therapeutic Learning Center

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment program and protocols created by the supervising BCBA – organize and update program supplies, monitor client behavior and skills, and maintain accurate data records.
  • Provide one‑on‑one therapy sessions working closely with individuals impacted by autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disorders in various settings, including schools, homes, and community locations.
  • Data collection, analysis, collaboration, and documentation.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive client information.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and mealtimes.
  • Collaborate with Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Education Staff, and others as required.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and team members to provide insight into specific client programs and treatment protocols.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of the job.

  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health is preferred.
  • Must be physically able to perform the job functions and other duties as assigned.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for building rapport with clients and their families.
Qualifications
