Job summary

Golden Touch ABA is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work with children and adolescents with autism in Maryland. The role involves implementing individualized ABA plans under BCBA supervision, collecting progress data, and collaborating with families and school teams.

Opportunities span home, school, and community settings. Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma, and a background in psychology or education, preferably with ABA experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with children or individuals with special needs; ABA experience a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Patience, empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Implement client-specific behavioral intervention plans as designed by a BCBA.
• Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage and reinforce desired behaviors.
• Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other team members to ensure consistency and continuity of care.
• Provide services in home, school, and community settings as needed.
